On 30 April 2025, the Secretary General of Vienna Economic Forum (VEF), Ambassador Dr. Elena Kirtcheva, welcomed H.E. Mag. Stella Avallone, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to the Republic of Moldova, at the premises of Vienna Economic Forum.
The Secretary General underlined the great importance of the support provided by the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria for the good organization of the upcoming Vienna Economic Forum – Chișinău Meeting 2025, taking place on 18 and 19 May 2025, especially in the anniversary year “30 Years of Austria’s EU Membership”.
Particular emphasis was placed on the active role of Ambassador Avallone and her initiatives, which contribute significantly to the preparation of Vienna Economic Forum – Chișinău Meeting 2025 and to further strengthening the active cooperation between Austria, the country of the VEF headquarters and the Republic of Moldova, a Member Country of Vienna Economic Forum.
The meeting took place in a very cordial atmosphere and included an open exchange on concrete possibilities for an even more active future cooperation.
