Memorandum of Understanding

with NEW BULGARIAN UNIVERSITY (NBU) – Risk Management Laboratory

We are proud to announce that Secretary General Amb. Dr. Elena Kirtcheva signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Prof. Antony Slavinski, Chair of the Board of Trustees and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Kostov, Director of NBU’s – Risk Management Laboratory.

The mission of Risk Management Laboratory of the NEW BULGARIAN UNIVERSITY (NBU) is scientific and applied research on (in)security and critical assessment of how authorities manage the risks to citizens, society and institutions. The work of this research centre is aimed at integrated management of risks and crisis.

The aim is to establish a bilateral cooperation and good relations between the two organisations and in order to enhance the development of further ties and networks with the aim to increase the economic activity of both sides in the whole region.
