Vienna Economic Forum bids a heartfelt farewell to Dr. Josef Taus, the first President of Vienna Economic Forum (VEF), who made a decisive contribution to the founding and establishment of VEF. As a visionary and entrepreneur, Dr. Taus was a driving force behind the idea of VEF and played a key role in establishing it as a central platform for economic cooperation in the region “From the Adriatic to the Black Sea.”
With Dr. Josef Taus, we lose not only a significant founder of VEF but also an outstanding personality who, with foresight and dedication, set crucial impulses for regional collaboration.
