Vienna Economic Forum (VEF) congratulates Assoc. Prof. Savina Mihaylova-Goleminova from VEF- Strategic Partner Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, and an active member of the Vienna Economic Forum – League of Universities from the VEF Region – From the Adriatic to the Black Sea.

Assoc. Prof. Mihaylova-Goleminova has been invited by the Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra National Law University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Prof. (Dr.) Bindu S. Ronald, to serve as Co-Chair of a conference track at the International Conference on “Law, Development and SDGs: Building Inclusive and Resilient Society”, taking place on 6–7 February 2026 in the State of Maharashtra, Republic of India.

This engagement takes place at an important moment in EU–India relations, marked by the renewed Strategic Agenda and the signing of a historic Free Trade Agreement — the largest ever concluded between the two partners. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to rules-based trade, innovation, economic growth, and strengthened academic cooperation between two of the world’s largest economies.

The International Conference on “Law, Development and SDGs: Building Inclusive and Resilient Society”, organised by Maharashtra National Law University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, focuses on the interrelations between law, development, and environmental responsibility, providing a platform for international academic exchange and policy-oriented dialogue.
