The Secretary General emphasized the significant importance of the long-standing and active cooperation between Vienna Economic Forum (VEF) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) — both with its Headquarters in Luxembourg and the EIB Group Office in Vienna.

The discussion focused on the support of the European Investment Bank Group (EIBG) for the upcoming 22nd Vienna Economic Forum – Vienna Future Dialogue 2025, to be held on 17 November 2025 in Vienna, as well as the active participation of EIB representatives in the discussions and their support for the VEF Member Country Ukraine.

The ongoing activities and strategic objectives of Vienna Economic Forum, particularly the further active collaboration between VEF and the EIB Office in Vienna, were highlighted as especially important.

Both sides underlined the relevance of strengthening regional dialogue and the important role of the EIB support for Vienna Economic Forum as European platform for the development of the economy of the Region “From the Adriatic to the Black Sea”, as an immanent Part of the European and global economy.

The meeting took place in a very friendly atmosphere and provided a valuable foundation for future cooperation.
